Club v club knockout challenge
Porrada Club
Porrada Club is ABJJA's club v club knockout challenge, bringing team pride, fast-paced matchups and the latest innovation in BJJ: Pit Walls.
The Australian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association was created to support the next chapter of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Australia. While the ABJJA is a new association, its foundations reach back to the early stages of the sport in this country, when small academies, dedicated instructors, and committed competitors helped build the first pathways for Australian jiu jitsu.
That history matters. It gives the ABJJA a responsibility to honour the people who carried the art forward, while creating a modern, organised, and welcoming association for today's athletes, coaches, academies, and families.
CONTACT THE ABJJA
To strengthen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Australia through fair events, clear standards, and respect for the community that built the sport here.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Australia has grown through persistence, technical curiosity, and the shared effort of many different teams. The ABJJA carries that spirit forward with a focus on service, fairness, and long-term development.
We acknowledge the pioneers, coaches, competitors, and academies who helped establish jiu jitsu in Australia.
We support pathways for beginners, experienced competitors, coaches, officials, and the wider jiu jitsu community.
We believe the sport grows best when expectations, decisions, and event standards are easy to understand.
We are building for the next generation of Australian grapplers, with a structure that can grow with the sport.
