Who will be the champion academy team?

Porrada Club is ABJJA's team competition format for invited academies. Every match matters, every win adds to the team score, and every athlete steps onto the mat representing more than themselves.

80 Fighters per full edition
2 Weight divisions
6 Minute fights
$100 Cash per fight winner
3 Academy points per win

Competition Format

  • Invitation-only gi BJJ team competition.
  • Eight teams in the first edition, with two teams competing per event.
  • Each academy brings ten fighters across two weight divisions.
  • Each fight win earns three points for the academy.

Team Build

  • Five fighters under 75kg and five fighters over 75kg.
  • Two white belts, two blue belts, two purple belts, two brown belts and two black belts.
  • All fights run for six minutes.
  • Cash prizes paid each event.

A full afternoon of gi super fights.

White belts. Blue belts. Purple, brown and black belts. One match after another, with different styles, different gyms and a room full of teammates backing their academy.

Porrada Club is designed to feel loud, focused and personal: coaches in the corner, teammates calling the score, and families watching every point swing the team race.
