Campeonato de Jiu Jitsu 2026

Presented by the ABJJA – Australian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association.

More matches. No memberships. No barriers. This competition uses a double elimination format so athletes have a minimum two-match pathway where divisions have three or more competitors.

Competition Format

  • IBJJF ruleset.
  • Double elimination format.
  • Minimum two matches guaranteed where divisions have at least three competitors.
  • Gi and no-gi divisions for kids, juveniles, adults, masters and openweight competitors.
  • All referees are certified and experienced black belts.

Registration Fees

  • Kids per division: early bird $84, normal $89, late $99.
  • Juvenile, adult and masters per division: early bird $94, normal $99, late $109.
  • Openweight per division: early bird $45, normal $50, late $60.
  • Spectator entry: $15 per person.
  • Each child competitor under 15 may bring one accompanying guardian free of charge.

Registration Periods

  • Early bird: 1 May to 17 May.
  • Normal registration: 18 May to 7 June.
  • Late registration: 8 June.
  • Last day to check, change and withdraw: 9 June.
  • Draws and schedule released by 10:00pm on the Thursday before competition.

Black Belt Entry

Black belts compete for free with proof through an IBJJF membership card or Smoothcomp profile.

No Membership Required

There are no annual athlete or gym membership fees required to compete. Academy membership is free.
